JOBS AND OCCUPATIONS – ESL GUESSING GAME

This activity is a guessing game to review vocabulary about jobs. Students must try to guess what job is in the picture before the image is fully revealed. This activity is great for lessons with expressions such as ‘What does he do?’ ‘ What does she do?’, (‘He/She is a doctor).’ This activity is absolutely FREE. Simply show this video in class from this page or from our YouTube Channel.

HOW TO PLAY:

There are 10 rounds. Each round shows a picture of a job hidden behind colored shapes. As the shapes slowly disappear, the image is revealed. Students must try to guess what the job is while using the target language. PAUSE THE VIDEO when students are ready to guess.
