This July 4th Game is great for teaching about Independence Day and related July 4th vocabulary. In this game, there are 10 pictures about the United States’ Independence day hidden behind colored shapes. Students must guess the July 4th word before the image is revealed. This July 4th game can be used to teach students about July 4th online or in the classroom. How To Play

To play this July 4th game online or in the classroom, simply show the video to your students. Students will see a picture/video of something related to Independence Day hidden behind some red, white, and blue shapes. As the shapes disappear, students should try to guess the July 4th word. If you are teaching online, you can ask students to shout out their guess, or raise their hand, or type their guess in the chat window. If teaching in the classroom, you can ask students to raise their hand, shout out the answer, or write their answer down.
