This fun pass the ball game is a great no-prep activity you can use in almost any class with kids. If you’re not familiar with the pass the ball game, the concept is simple. When the music is play, students should pass the ball. When the music stops, the student holding the ball should answer a question.
Pass The Ball Game – How To Play
To play this game, all you need is this video and a small soft ball for students to pass around. Simply play the video and while the music is playing, students must pass the ball. When the music stops, the student with the ball must answer the teacher’s questions. TIP: To encourage all learners to take part and speak using the target language, ask the students who don’t have the ball to ask the question, and the student with the ball to answer.
To ensure this activity runs smoothly, before the game be sure to tell students that they must pass the ball and not throw the ball.
