Guess The Country From The Food

In this fun game, students must first guess the name of the food and then guess what country it comes from. This game can be used as a warm-up activity or a review activity when teaching countries and nationalities or lessons about food. This ESL activity is suitable for beginner English language learners.

How To Play

To play this game, simply show the video in class. There are ten pictures of foods from around the world. Students must guess what food it is and then guess what country it is from. This video includes 10 names of countries. 

TIP: You can also use this when introducing nationalities to students. After each country is revealed, illicit the nationality vocabulary from students.
