Interactive Colors Vocabulary Exercises
Practice colors in English with these three interactive exercises. You’ll learn ten basic color words: red, yellow, blue, green, orange, pink, purple, brown, black, and white. These exercises can be completed independently by students, or displayed on a classroom screen and used as whole-class activities by clicking on the fullscreen button in each exercise.
Colors Exercise 1: Listen and Repeat
Look at each picture and click Reveal Word to see the color. Then click Listen and Repeat to hear the pronunciation and say the word aloud.
Colors Exercise 2: Choose the Correct Picture
Read the sentence and look at the two pictures. Click on the picture that matches the color word in the sentence. There are ten sentences. Can you get a perfect score?
Colors Exercise 3: Spelling Practice
Look at the picture and read the sentence. Type the missing color word to complete the sentence. Use the word bank if you need help with the spelling.
