How To Play

To play this game, simply play the video. There are 10 rounds and each round will show students a positive adjective and a negative adjective. These adjectives describe the gifts. Students will have 5 seconds to choose their gift. They can choose either red or blue. After 5 seconds, the gifts are revealed. If students chose the good gift, they get plus points and if they chose the bad gift they get negative points. The student or team with the most points at the end is the winner.

This game can be played individually or in small teams/pairs. Once students have chosen their gift, have them write down their choice, and once the points are revealed, have them write down their score.

Tip:

So students have a chance to practice using the adjectives in the game, have students write down a sentence describing the gift that they chose. For example, “It’s an old car”, “It’s an expensive watch.”, etc.
