How To Play

To play, simply show the video. There are 10 rounds, and in each round students see a picture of something you can find in a restaurant. The images are hidden behind coloured shapes. As the shapes disappear, students must guess the word before the image is fully revealed.

The words included in this game are: menu, bill, waiter, waitress, cutlery, chef, salt and pepper, dessert, kitchen, and meal.

This activity can be used in different ways. You can use it as a warm-up or review activity and ask students to raise their hands to answer, write down their guesses, or simply call out the word.
