Thanksgiving Quiz – What Am I?
Use this Thanksgiving quiz in class to review vocabulary and traditions in a fun way. This “What Am I?” activity has 10 rounds. In each one, students read three clues and try to guess the correct Thanksgiving word before the timer runs out.
How to Use This Thanksgiving Quiz in Class
To play, show the video in class. Each round presents three clues about a Thanksgiving-related word and asks “What Am I?”. Students read the clues and then guess the answer before the time is up. You can pause the video if students need extra time to think. There are different ways to use the quiz depending on your class:
- Put students in pairs or small groups and have them write down their answers.
- Ask students to raise their hands when they are ready to guess.
- For a quicker game, let students shout out the answer as soon as they know it.
