How to Use This Quiz

Use this quiz to check how well your students can form the present continuous tense. Click the full-screen button to display the quiz on your classroom screen and go through the questions one by one as a class. Each question asks “What’s he doing?”, “What’s she doing?”, or “What are they doing?”, so students must choose both the correct subject and the correct verb + –ing form.

You can also use this as a short test at the end of your unit. Display the quiz, but don’t reveal the answers. Have students write down their responses, then go through the correct answers together at the end.
