PREPOSITIONS MEMORY GAME

This prepositions memory game is a fun activity to teach Prepositions to kids and beginner English language learners. In this game, students will see a scene for 5 seconds and must try to remember where the objects are. This activity is great as a review activity to teach the prepositions on, in, under, in front of, behind, next to, and between. This activity is absolutely FREE. Simply show this video in class from this page or from YouTube.

How To Play

To play this game, simply show the video. There are 10 rounds and for each round, students will see a scene for 5 seconds. The students must try to memorize where all the objects in the scene are. Next, students will be asked a question such as “Where is the baseball bat?”, and must answer the question using prepositions of place. This activity can be played as a whole class activity, or students can play individually, in pairs, or in small teams, to write down the answer. PAUSE THE VIDEO when you see the pause sign to give students time to answer.
