This family set comes with 8 illustrated flashcards showing close family members. Words include mom, dad, sister, brother, grandma, grandpa, aunt, and uncle. Each card is available in two sizes, so you can display them clearly to the class or hand them out for small group activities. Family Members Flashcard Game
Here’s a fun flashcard game you can play with these family flashcards. Line the flashcards up in a row on the board. Divide the class into two teams and have each team line up at opposite ends of the row. When the teacher says “Go!”, the first student from each team walks toward the other, touching each flashcard and saying the keyword/phrase (e.g., “This is my mom,” “This is my uncle,” etc.).
When they meet in the middle, they say “Nice to meet you,” then play rock, scissors, paper. The winner continues walking forward while the other goes to the back of their team’s line. The next student on that team starts their turn. The first team to get a student to the opposite side wins the round.
